INGREDIENTS:
2 cups of rolled oats
¼ a cup of sunflower seeds
¼ cup of almonds
1 teaspoon of salt
¼ cup of raisins
1 tablespoon of cinnamon powder
¼ cup of olive oil
¼ cup of cashew nuts
½ a cup of honey
Vanilla essence
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
In a bowl add your oats, sunflower seeds,almond and cashew nuts. Stir to blend.
In a separate bowl add your olive oil, honey, salt, cinnamon and vanilla. Spread the mixture ensuring the dry ingredients are well coated. Pour the granola onto your baking pan ensuring it is evenly spread.
Bake for 18-20 minutes and halfway add the raisins so as to prevent them from getting burnt. Toss them around after 10 minutes to avoid them from being too clumpy.
Let the granola cool down for about 4o minutes and store it in an airtight container in room temperature condition.
